Annika brings over 20 years of HR leadership across sectors and industries and experience as a small business owner to her role as Principal Consultant for Leda HR.  Since 2014, Annika has been consulting with businesses and providing end to end talent management and total rewards advice and support.  She specializes in workplace culture assessment and development, leadership and team development, organizational performance and change management support.  She is also an experienced facilitator.

 

Annika has a depth of knowledge and experience in diversity and creating welcoming, inclusive and respectful workplaces.  Much of her undergraduate degree was focused on the study of people and culture.  She has a BA that includes courses in general and Indigenous anthropology.   Anthropology as proven to be a great foundation for her career in HR and for supporting organizations to create workplace cultures that attract, value and engage a diverse workforce.  

She has a BA from UBC, a post-degree Diploma in HR Management from BCIT and her Canadian Practitioner of Human Resources (CPHR) designation.  Her in-house experience includes the role of Director, Talent Management at Vancity Savings Credit Union (Vancity) and an executive search consultant for a leading global search firm.  She has also held compensation, training and development and HR generalist roles in local organizations.   

Annika was a former member of the Advisory Committee for HR programs at BCIT and is a current Board member for Alexandra Neighbourhood House (ANH) and Chair of the Board, Diversity & Inclusion Sub-committee.

An award-winning diversity and inclusion professional, Kristin's experience spans two decades. With a solid background in human resources, she has worked in finance and hospitality and provided consulting services to a wide variety of businesses in between. Kristin has designed and delivered training, led teams, created strategy, piloted employment programs, engaged with stakeholders at all levels of an organization and shifted organizational culture.

Joanne Spalton

With over 22 years in people management roles, Joanne's wide range of expertise includes facilitating, working with teams, assessing employee engagement, developing leaders and delivering training programs on a variety of topics.  Her people development skills have been honed through senior level positions across a broad range of sectors including post-secondary education, manufacturing, engineering and most recently, software development.  With over 10 years as a facilitator, executive coach and trainer, she has worked for a number of other industries such as private sector gaming, animation, software development, internet services, as well as legal and financial services.  Joanne also has public sector experience with policing organizations, municipal governments and federal government agencies.  

Joanne is a fully trained coach through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI).  She holds a CPHR designation and has completed a post-degree diploma in Human Resource Management from BCIT.   She also holds a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science, English) degree from the University of Victoria.
